How it works
Fractional radiofrequency energy is delivered into the skin in a fine grid. The untouched skin around each point speeds healing, while your body builds new collagen and healthy skin cells.
Your treatment is performed by Leah Bienstock, PA-C, who has 25 years in dermatology and specializes in skin of color, so every treatment is tailored to your skin.
Sublative FAQs
How many Sublative treatments will I need?
Most people need at least 3 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, depending on their skin.
Is Sublative safe for darker skin?
Yes. Sublative is effective on all skin types, and Leah specializes in treating skin of color.
What is the downtime?
Expect redness and a mild sunburn feeling for a day or two. Avoid exercise for 24 to 48 hours and the sun for 2 to 4 weeks, and wear SPF 40 or higher.
How do I prepare?
Avoid sun and tanning for 2 weeks, stop exfoliating products 3 days before, and avoid fillers within 4 weeks and Botox within 2 weeks of treatment.
Who should not have Sublative?
People who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or who have certain medical conditions, may need to wait. People with thyroid nodules should not be treated on the neck. Call 201-882-1050 or contact us to book.
