Are there any side effects?
- Patients will typically experience swelling for approximately one week after a Profound treatment. There may also be bruising. Minimal to moderate redness is to be expected with resolution within 2-12 hours.
When will I start seeing results?
- Optimal results are typically observed 3-6 months after receiving the Profound treatment. Results are long lasting; for most patients, only one treatment is needed.
Is there any pain?
- A local anesthetic is provided prior to treatment to reduce any pain or discomfort the patient may experience during treatment.
Is there any downtime?
- A Profound treatment is associated with less downtime as compared to a surgical facelift. Patients will typically experience swelling for approximately one week after treatment, and there may also be minimal bruising.
