Are there any side effects?

  • Patients will typically experience swelling for approximately one week after a Profound treatment. There may also be bruising. Minimal to moderate redness is to be expected with resolution within 2-12 hours.

When will I start seeing results?

  • Optimal results are typically observed 3-6 months after receiving the Profound treatment. Results are long lasting; for most patients, only one treatment is needed.

  • A local anesthetic is provided prior to treatment to reduce any pain or discomfort the patient may experience during treatment.
